Hotel Majestad is a 12-room boutique hotel in Barrio Amón, San José’s most protected historic district. What makes it different: when you book, you book the entire property. All 12 rooms, every courtyard, garden, terrace, and common area — exclusively for your group. No other guests, no shared spaces.
It was built in the early 20th century by a French mason, served as the British Embassy in Costa Rica in the 1950s, and is now a fully restored historic mansion operated by the same family behind Jaco Laguna Resort.

Start at the beach in Jacó, then end in the historic capital — or reverse it. One family, two properties, one seamless Costa Rica trip.
Suggested 7-day itinerary:
- Days 1–3: Jaco Laguna Resort, Jacó. Beach, surf, Tiki Bar, Manuel Antonio day trip.
- Day 4: Transfer to San José — 2 hours by private car. We coordinate the transfer.
- Days 4–7: Hotel Majestad, San José. Historic Barrio Amón, downtown museums, Central Valley day trips (Poás Volcano, coffee farms, La Paz waterfalls).
- Day 7: Return to SJO airport (25 min from Hotel Majestad).
